Our themed mystery dinners offer a full evening of entertainment. Come dressed in character, enjoy dinner then channel your inner sleuth as you work to solve a mystery. Our mystery dinners are one of a kind and combine traditional murder mystery dinners with escape rooms.
Minimum requirement: To book a private dinner, we have a 35-person minimum requirement. We will provide the game, the dinner, and the off-site location.
The cost: $60 plus tax per person for scheduled mystery dinners. The cost of large group private parties will vary, dependent upon options.
What’s included: A full dinner with dessert, a mystery game, and a digital photograph. The total experience lasts roughly 2.5 hours.
Where it takes place: These events are held at one of our partner locations.
How it works: Guests arrive in themed/time-period clothing and enjoy dinner and a mystery. Guests seated at the same table will become a team (up to 9 to a table- if you want to form your own team). Teams will work against others to be the first to solve the mystery.

The Story: You are a wealthy investor always looking to make big money. Some time ago, a group contacted you about investing in Z.O.M.B.I.E. and promised you that you would be rich beyond your wildest dreams. You have been invited to the investors’ dinner tonight, and there promises to be a big announcement about the government-contracted superweapon. Surely nothing can go wrong named Z.O.M.B.I.E., right?
Time: 7:00 P.M.
Location: Cactus Cove Inn and Suites, 2501 Interstate 40 East, Amarillo, TX 79104. If you wish to spend the night, click here to reserve a room in this newly renovated hotel. Booking a room is not required and is separate from the game.
Dinner: Dinner will consist of heavy appetizers. This will include things similar to sliders, meatballs, fruit, vegetables, crackers, cheese, and other items. Water and tea will be provided, B.Y.O.B. permitted.
Dress: Customers are encouraged to dress up as wealthy investors, scientists, doctors, or even zombies! Have some fun with it.

The story: New Year’s Eve parties don’t get any better than in the Speakeasy at Cactus Cove. Join the prohibition era to ring in the new year, bringing some good hooch, a few bootleggers, a mob boss, and more. This juice joint comes to a murderous halt after the body of a billionaire is found in one of the hotel rooms. Who at the party is responsible for killing him? How was he killed, and what was the motive? This mystery won’t solve itself, and everyone is a suspect, even you.
Time and Location: This event is held at our partner location, Cactus Cove Inn and Suites. 2501 E. Interstate Dr. Amarillo, TX 79104 (The old Kiva inn and Western Horseman)
Dress: Customers are encouraged to dress in proper 1920’s attire. This dress is encouraged to be upscale as if you were walking into an old speakeasy with fine dress and company. You are the wealthy in the town.
Dinner: Dinner will be one beef and one chicken enchilada, rice, beans, chips, salsa, queso and desert. Tea, water and soft drinks will be provided. A cash bar will be available as well.

The story: Whose Body has been found on Miss Havisham’s property? Is it the finance that left her at the alter 25 years ago? Become apart of the Charles Dickens’ classic stories to solve this “Dickens of a Christmas.”
Time and Location: This event is held at our partner location, The Wolflin House, located at 11925 South Western. Guests should plan for the experience to last roughly 2.5 hours. Doors will open at 6 p.m. for check-in.
Dress: Customers are encouraged to come dressed in costume. Tacky Christmas attire, a Charles Dickens character, or an ugly Christmas sweater. The possibilities are endless.
Dinner: A local chef will cater the meal. Dinner will include one beef enchilada, one chicken enchilada, rice, beans, salad, desert and a choice of water, tea or soda. Sorry, substitutions cannot be made. BYOB permitted.

The story: It’s the 1920’s, and there’s no bigger name in comedy than Harvey Hamlin. However, lately, the actor’s ego is larger than his baggy pants and bowler hat, and he’s turned some influential fans into dangerous enemies. Hamlin is scheduled to perform at Chicago’s Cotton Club, and if the names on the guest list are any indication, this is one act no one will soon forget.
Time and Location: This event is held at our partner location, The Wolflin House, located at 11925 South Western. Guests should plan for the experience to last roughly 2.5 hours. Doors will open at 6 p.m. for check-in.
Dress: Participants are encouraged to come dressed in 1920s clothing. It doesn’t have to be elaborate; a dollar-store feather boa or fedora hat would work. A buffet-style dinner is included in the ticket price.
