The Story: Step into the hallowed halls of Grimshire Academy for a night shrouded in mystery and magic. The celebration turns sinister as the academy’s most illustrious alumni gather to honor the retirement of Headmaster Aldous Everbright. The revered headmaster, renowned for his alchemical genius and on the brink of groundbreaking discovery, is found dead—slumped over his goblet with a half-eaten dragon berry tart beside him. The cause of death is an unknown potion, and his powerful grimoire has vanished. Among the esteemed professors, former students, and curious magical beings, a murderer lurks. Can you unravel the web of secrets and deceit to discover who is responsible? Beware, for no one is safe, and the danger may be closer than you think.

Dress Code: Guests are encouraged to come dressed in Harry Potter-inspired attire. Embrace the magical theme by wearing robes of a Hogwarts house, dressing as a professor, or embodying a magical creature. Think wands, wizard hats, and mystical accessories to complete your look. Let your imagination bring the wizarding world to life!

Location and Schedule:

This event is held at our partner location, Cactus Cove Inn and Suites, 2501 I-40 East, Amarillo, TX 79104. Guests should plan for the experience to last roughly 2.5 hours. Doors will open at 6 p.m. for check-in.

Chef Bud, host of Chef Bud’s Table on KAMR 4, will prepare all meals.

Game Style: This unique event blends a mystery dinner with an escape room. You will participate in acting, speaking parts, and need to unlock boxes and investigate the clues inside them.
