The Story: Celebrate New Year’s Eve like never before at the Speakeasy at Cactus Cove. Step back into the 1920s prohibition era and join the most exclusive party of the year. The evening promises to attract a colorful array of characters, including bootleggers, mob bosses, and more. The festivities come to a sudden halt when the body of a billionaire is discovered in one of the hotel rooms. Who at the party is responsible for the murder? How was the crime committed, and what was the motive? This mystery won’t solve itself. Everyone is a suspect, including YOU!

Dress Code: Guests are encouraged to come dressed in 1920s-themed attire. Think flapper dresses, pinstripe suits, fedoras, and feathered headbands. Embrace the spirit of the Roaring Twenties and bring the speakeasy vibe to life with your outfit.

Location and Schedule: The event will occur at our partner location, Cactus Cove Inn and Suites, at 2501 Interstate 40 E, Amarillo, TX 79104. Please plan for the experience to last approximately 2.5 hours. Doors will open at 6 p.m. for check-in. Dinner will begin at 7:00 p.m. or as soon as all guests arrive.

Game Style: This unique event blends a mystery dinner with an escape room. You will participate in acting and speaking parts and need to unlock boxes and investigate the clues inside them. Be prepared to move around, solve riddles, and engage with other guests. Collaboration is encouraged, as other guests will have verbal clues essential for advancing through the game.
