We’ve done gender reveals at Amarillo Escape and Mystery, and the way it works is simple: instead of everyone standing around watching one moment happen to you, they’re all working together to reach it. The reveal isn’t handed to them. They earn it.
How the reveal actually works
The idea is to build the gender reveal into the game’s final puzzle. Your guests solve clues, work through the room, and when they unlock the last lock or open the final compartment — that’s where the reveal is waiting. Pink or blue, a message, colored items inside, whatever makes sense for the setup.
To keep it a genuine surprise, you have your doctor write the gender on a card and seal it. That sealed envelope goes to a trusted friend who handles setting up the reveal element, or directly to our team if we’re coordinating it. Nobody playing the game knows the answer until that final moment.
